Traditional Sounds is a small but packed full instrument/music store for the folk acoustic musician and music lover.

We carry Mountain Dulcimers, Hammered Dulcimers, Banjos, Mandolins, Irish Bodhrans, Ukuleles, Harmonicas, Penny (Tin) and Song Whistles, Spoons, Bones, Zydeco Ties, Jaw Harps and much more.

We carry string sets from Ernie Ball, GHS, Black Diamond, D’Addario, Martin, Dr. Duck, and Riverlark. The string sets are for Fiddle, Banjo, Guitar, Resonator, Banjo, Ukulele (standard and baritone), Mountain Dulcimer and Mandolin.

If it’s individual strings that you are looking for, we have individual strings from most of the same companies as well as Elixir.

Our tab books are from Mel Bay, Hal Leonard, Santorella, Music Sales, and individual performers. The tab books are for Autoharp, Folk Harp, Mandolin, Banjo, Dobro, Fiddle, Guitar, and the instruments listed above. 

You will also find CDs in the store. The selections are expanding weekly. We carry many individual artists/performers of the Mountain and Hammer Dulcimer world. As well as Celtic and Bluegrass selections.
